Project outline
This autumn Robin Hood will return to Nottingham Castle.
The city’s most famous legend is brought home to Nottingham in an exhibition developed exclusively for Nottingham Castle. Visitors can discover the magic behind the highly acclaimed BBC series, and see the actual props and costumes used in the Robin Hood TV show in an exhibition running from September 2007 into 2008.
The design for the campaign involved using the studio photography of Robin, Marian and the Sheriff in an evocative woodland scene. Once a concept was established, the design was rolled out across all elements and artwork was created.
A winter scene design was also created for a Robin Hood Christmas card which is to be sent to school children in the Nottinghamshire area and includes a ticket to the event.
Printed elements included: Council House and lamppost banners displayed in the city centre, bus shelter and CIP adverts, event posters, press advert and promotional leaflet.
