Redefining student accommodation
Through our brand DNA workshop we uncovered the most important aspects of the Sulets student brand. By defining the DNA and developing a new brand identity it has allowed a leading Student Housing Charity to modernise and reconnect with their core audience.
Simplifying a mixed message
Sulets are an established student letting agency serving students at Leicester and De Montfort Universities. Market research highlighted that the student brand was seen as dated and that the logo did not reflect the brand offering. More engagement and connection were needed to make the brand work more effectively.
Breathing energy into the student brand
Following a brand workshop to establish the brand DNA, logo and brand identity concepts were designed to resonate with the key persona groups. A development of the logo, new ‘hero’ imagery and a hand-written typography were selected to provide a more human feel to the brand. Full brand guidelines were created to help the marketing team maintain consistency across the brand going forward.
A smooth launch and an increased connection
The launch of the brand has been highly successful and has succeeded in re-engaging the existing audience whilst reaching out to new individuals too. The design has been applied to event graphics, marketing collateral and email templates, with the design of a responsive, booking platform and website soon to follow.
