Bringing a portfolio of talent and technology under one confident name


Petrosys has spent over 40 years helping energy companies make sense of their subsurface data. That reputation for clarity is hard-won. But as the business grew through acquisitions and expanded its solutions, the brand hadn't kept pace. It was underselling what Petrosys had become.


The brief was to fix that. A considered name evolution to Petrosys Group, paired with a refreshed brand architecture, brings a diverse portfolio into focus under a single identity – one that reflects the full breadth of what the business offers across global markets, and gives both customers and a growing internal team something to rally behind.


The visual identity takes its cues from the work itself. Flowing gradient forms, drawn from subsurface mapping and digital data pathways, run through the system as a unifying device – suggesting seamless integration without over-explaining it. Bold typography and a modern colour palette do the rest, giving the brand the confidence to show up properly in the markets it's now competing in.


Petrosys Group enters its next chapter with a brand that's finally caught up with its ambitions.

The rebrand was about more than updating our visual identity. We needed a clearer way to represent the growing Petrosys Group portfolio of subsurface data management and geoscience solutions while maintaining the reputation and trust associated with the Petrosys name. Petrosys had grown rapidly through acquisitions, leaving them with a fragmented brand that didn't reflect their full scale. We unified their diverse portfolio under a single, confident brand architecture, transforming them from a software provider into a cohesive global energy group.


By evolving the name and introducing a design system inspired by "data streams," we created the clarity needed to enter new markets and lead the energy transition. This strategic alignment has turned a complex group of companies into a distinctive market leader, positioned to drive growth and project expertise on a global stage.
